Ann Voorhees Baker is the Founder of Women At Woodstock, an online community and annual gathering for women over 50 who come from all over the country to spend a weekend together outside of Woodstock, NY – that icon of our generation’s most heady days. We stay in a rustic setting (think stone house built in 1772, secluded setting, wood-burning fireplaces, trees & sweeping vistas) that’s totally modernized (think renovation using stones, timber beams and siding from ruined out buildings on the original farm, solar power, spring-fed water, high ceilings, huge windows, local artisan craftsmanship, and rules about recycling).
Ann started these gatherings out of a need to connect with other like-minded women seeking information, inspiration, collaboration and the support of true friends as they venture out into life post-50. Women At Woodstock has grown into a force of its own, attracting renowned authors, speakers, and experts in various fields who lead workshops throughout the weekend.
