It really seems that when you undergo a big life change, like moving to a new home, taking on a roommate, or even doing a major clean-out of the clutter that’s been clogging your living space for years, amid all of the stress, creativity can be unleashed. Even the disruption in routine caused by the holidays can loosen up some creative thinking, especially as you look ahead to the new year to come. In Impowerage.com, we found an interesting article by Dr. Carolyn Anderson on 5 ways to unleash your creative side. Most interesting was the suggestion that early morning or late night hours are the best for creativity, not so much because the rest of the world is asleep but because it’s dark outside. Apparently darkness itself is a trigger for creativity. Most fun was the suggestion that a little of the vino can make you more creative. But we knew that already, right? Several other interesting and, dare we say, creative ways to get more creative are shared in “5 Easy Ways to Boost Your Creativity.”
